Every score on FXTopBrokers is the result of a structured testing process. Here's exactly how it works — including the criteria we score, how we weight them, and what disqualifies a broker from our coverage.
Before any broker receives a score or appears on our site, a member of our editorial team must complete a minimum 4-week live account test. No exceptions. Here's what that looks like:
ScoringEach broker is scored independently across 12 criteria on a 1–10 scale. No criterion is combined before individual scoring to avoid anchoring bias. The final score is a weighted average.
The following will result in a broker being removed from our site regardless of other scores: withdrawal requests denied without regulatory basis · regulatory licence revoked or under active investigation · unresolved client fund disputes · evidence of spread manipulation · misleading advertising we can verify as false. We have removed brokers for all of these reasons.
